A great site for birders with excellent photographs

The photos on this website are pretty amazing and mostly taken by ornithologist Mick Dryden whose knowledge about birds (worldwide) is remarkable.

If you are interested in learning more about the Esteros del Ibera then try Conservation Land Trust's website which has plenty of data (a lot of the detail in Spanish but general stuff in english).

A great place to stay in the Esteros del Ibera is the 12000 hectare reserve called Rincon del Socorro.  This is the reserve in which the Giant Anteaters have been released and you will encounter more Capybaras and Greater Rheas here than anywhere else.  The accommodation and food is superb, as are the excursions.

A guide company that I can recommend in Ituzaingo, Corrientes, which covers the northern end of the Esteros del Ibera is Turismo Diversidad run by Alejandra & Seppi.

This next one is not really a wildlife site but it comes out with some very interesting statistics about the human population
