The Eared Dove is an attractively marked dove which is found throughout Argentina.  It is very common and we see it here at the reserve.

It is medium sized at 22cm.  It's head and underparts are pinkish grey and the back and wings are plumbeous with dark spots on the latter.  There is a pink sheen on the sides of the neck as well as a black line.  They eyes are black and the legs are pink.
