We're delighted to have a strong population of strange-tailed tyrants at the reserve. So much so that we've adopted these beautiful and endangered birds as the symbol of the Trust
The Brown Cachalote is a member of the Furnariidae family and is an occasional visitor to the Ibera Marshes
It is predominantly rufous brown with a brown crest and bright pale eyes. The bill is long and pale.
It is known as Cacholote Castano in Argentina.
