We're delighted to have a strong population of strange-tailed tyrants at the reserve. So much so that we've adopted these beautiful and endangered birds as the symbol of the Trust
The Chestnut-capped Blackbird is a handsome bird occasionally seen at our reserve in the Ibera marshes. It is naturally associated with water and marshes.
It is predominantly black with a chestnut coloured cap and throat. The bill is short compared to other members of the Icteridae family
