We're delighted to have a strong population of strange-tailed tyrants at the reserve. So much so that we've adopted these beautiful and endangered birds as the symbol of the Trust
This attractive duck has just arrived in the Ibera Marshes, not having been seen here for at least 3 years. The striking feature is the bill which is blue and yellow.
It has a dark brown crown which extends down the nape and dark brown primaries. Flanks are brown with each feather having a pale edging. Buffy lower face and throat.
